Budgeting is easy. It’s not about how much you spend; it’s about how you allocate your money. First you need to work out how much you make after tax. Next allocate funds to fixed costs… You know the expenses you have to pay - fuel, food, rent, mortgage payments etc. Next allocate money to be saved, I recommend you save at least 20% of your “take home”. You’re then free to spend what is left.
